Years It is the number of years remaining till the time, your child is likely to begin his/her higher education. For eg. If the higher education goal will mature at say age 18 and your child's current age is 8 then 10 will be the years to maturity.

We should assume a higher rate of inflation (at least 2 to 5% higher) for education costs, considering the lack of quality education institutions and the growing competition for admissions.
